After Salman Khan now Shah Rukh Khan received a death threat from a caller demanding Rs 50 lakh. As per the Mumbai Police officials received the threat call at Bandra Police Station.
Shah Rukh Khan threat call demands Rs 50 lakh; FIR filed against Faizan Khan in Raipur
The caller is identified as Faizan Khan and he demanded a huge ransom from Shah Rukh Khan, threatening to kill him if the payment was not made. The call was made to the Bandra Police Station’s landline on November 5. Reportedly, he lost his mobile phone on November 2, which is also SRK’s birthday.
As per News18 reports, Faizan filed a police complaint on the same day. He stated, “Someone misused my lost number and made this threat call. Mumbai police came today morning and recorded my statement. Mumbai police told me that a threat call has been made from your number, I told them I lost my mobile on November 2 and complaint has been made in local station.”
The call was traced to Chhattisgarh capital Raipur, and the caller has been identified as Faizan Khan. After this, a Mumbai Police team has been sent to Raipur, and they are coordinating with Raipur police to nab the caller.
An FIR has been registered under sections 308(4) (intentionally putting any person in fear of any injury) and 351(3)(4) (criminal intimidation) of the BNS by the Bandra Police. Further details in the matter are awaited.
